W dniach od 6 do 10 lutego br. gościliśmy w naszej szkole uczniów i nauczycieli z El Puerto de Santa Maria w Hiszpanii oraz Talsi na Łotwie. Spotkanie odbyło się w ramach programu Erasmus+ akcji „Współpraca na rzecz innowacji i dobrych praktyk”, za którego realizację odpowiedzialne są p. Grażyna Napieraj oraz p. Mirosława Niewiadomska. W grupie partnerskiej znajduje się również szkoła z Bartin w Turcji, która tym razem nie uczestniczyła w wizycie. Głównym celem projektu jest doskonalenie podstawowych umiejętności uczniów, takich jak: pisanie oraz czytanie ze zrozumieniem w językach ojczystych oraz rozwijanie umiejętności komunikatywnego posługiwania się językiem angielskim. W czasie trwania projektu uczniowie uczestniczyli w zajęciach z języka polskiego, języka angielskiego oraz przyrody, wykorzystując narzędzia technologii informacyjno – komunikacyjnej w edukacji. Natomiast nauczyciele przyglądali się alternatywnym metodom nauczania czytania oraz pisania. W poznaniu dziejów pisania na przestrzeni wieków pomogła wycieczka do Muzeum Ziemi Puckiej, podczas której uczniowie uczestniczyli w warsztatach „Szkoła dawniej i dziś”, próbując swoich sił w kaligrafii. Z kolei z technologią drukarską młodzi adepci sztuki pisarskiej zetknęli się w Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej w Wejherowie, podziwiając dawne litografie i wykonując własne linoryty. Sprawdzianem umiejętności komunikowania się było codzienne redagowanie w grupach międzynarodowych broszury “Journal of a visit to Reda”. Nie zabrakło także zajęć integracyjnych w szkole i poza nią, takich jak: wspólne ognisko z pieczeniem kiełbasek w stadninie koni Pegaz, bowling oraz zabawy wodne w Aquaparku w Redzie. Na zakończenie wizyty goście obejrzeli przedstawienie p.t. „Kopciuszek” w wykonaniu uczniów z klasy VIc. Uczestniczyli też w grze miejskiej, odwiedzając z mapą wybrane punkty w Redzie m.in: przedszkole „Omnibusek”, Miejską Bibliotekę Publiczną, MDK, Urząd Miasta, księgarnię. W każdym z wyznaczonych na mapie miejsc czekało na uczniów zadanie do wykonania związane z umiejętnością ćwiczenia języka obcego oraz komunikowania się w grupie międzynarodowej. Krótkoterminowa wymiana grup uczniów i nauczycieli z Hiszpanii, Łotwy oraz Polski dała możliwość konfrontacji doświadczeń dotyczących kształtowania umiejętności czytania, pisania oraz komunikowania się. Dzięki pracy nad projektem uczestnicy wymiany mieli okazję doświadczyć międzykulturowego uczenia się, udoskonalić umiejętność funkcjonowania w różnych relacjach społecznych. Serdecznie podziękowania należą się rodzinom, które przez tydzień gościły u siebie uczniów z Hiszpanii i Łotwy, dbając o to, aby ich pobyt w Redzie obfitował w atrakcje i był niezapomnianym przeżyciem.

Monday, 6th February 2017
8.55 – 9.40 Visit to
school, meeting in the gym. Official welcome by the headteachers, general aims
and programme of the visit.
9.50 – 10.35 Students’ participation
in a Polish lesson: The characters of the
book “The adventures of Tom Sawyer” in comics. Creating comics based on the
book. Various forms of utterances in comics and their graphic presentations.
Improvement of international team work and communication in English,
presentations of comics in Polish and English.
10.45 – 11.30 Creating a brochure „Journal of a visit to Reda” (part I):
students work in international groups and (with teachers’ help) describe their
mood, feelings on the first day at school in Poland, on the first day of the
visit, they answer eight questions (“All about me!”), they learn greetings from
each other in four project languages.
11.45 – 12.30 A concert „The
legend of the bugle call from St. Mary’s”. The students get to know another
form of the legend, which students had learnt earlier in the written form.
Different musical instruments are presented and musical interpretation of the
legend. After the concert – team work (students and teachers), discussions on
the legend and its musical rearrangement.
13.15 – 14.00 Lesson observation
in 1st class. Using glottodidactic
method to teach reading and writing, based on synthesis and analysis of words
according to prof. Rocławski’s programme. The exercises of synthesis and
analysis are accompanied by breathing exercises and games which improve speech
organs. After the lesson – teachers’ discussions on the methods they use to
teach reading and writing.
14.15 – 15.00 Sports activities in the
big gym (e.g. climbing wall). Using English to communicate during sports
activities (vocabulary connected with sport).
15.00 Time with families.
16.30 –
18.30 Pegaz – Integration meeting for
pupils, teachers and families on a farm Pegaz; sleigh ride (if there is snow), a
bonfire. Reading and talking about Polish simple traditional recipes.
Tuesday, 7th February 2017
8.00 – 8.45 Creating a brochure
„Journal of a visit to Reda” (part II): students work in international groups
and (with teachers’ help) describe Monday activities, they draw and name
musical instruments (concert), describe sports afternoon activities at school
and in Pegaz.
8.55 – 9.40 Biology lesson: Revision.
Using a game – based learning platform Kahoot! by students to revise the
material.
9.50 – 10.35 Students participate in the lessons according to the host
student’s lesson plan.
11.00 – 14.00 Visit to the Museum
of Writing: workshops, lithography, printing, students make linocuts by
themselves as bookplates (ex libris).
The museum – the place where the old books are collected, maintained and
disseminated using the Internet, on-line catalogues, digital collections of
books (which are shared on Pomeranian Digital Library).
14.00 – 16.00 Guided
tour in Wejherowo – listening to the history of the town and the most
interesting places – practise in listening comprehension in English.
18.00 – 19.00 Bowling
– students, families and teachers play, improve their vocabulary talk about the
rules of the games.

8.00 – 8.45 Creating a brochure
„Journal of a visit to Reda” (part III): students work in international groups
and describe Tuesday activities, describe their favourite food, favourite pizza
and the most interesting places in Wejherowo.
8.55 – 9.40 Students’
participation in a Polish lesson: About
communication and misunderstandings (in international teams). They get to know the scheme of
communication; defining the sender and receiver, creating the skill of verbal
and non-verbal speech, students name and express they emotions using gestures.
9.50 – 11.30 Students participate in the
lessons according to the host student’s lesson plan.
11.45 – 18.00 A trip
to Gdansk:
The Hevelianum Centre:
the educational and recreational centre with four interactive and multimedia exhibition. Students
perceive the world and learn about it in a creative, and innovative way. They
read information about each unit in English and in Polish.
Tour in Gdansk.
Polish students, as guides, present information in English on the most
interesting and important places in Gdansk.
Thursday, 9th February 2017
8.55 – 9.40 Creating a brochure
„Journal of a visit to Reda” (part IV): students work in international groups
and describe Wednesday activities, write what they learnt on Polish lessons,
work in groups on the text (with gaps) about Gdansk, read and discuss on the
trip to Gdansk.
9.50 – 10.35 English lesson: Asking
the way. Students learn to ask the way and give information. Pair work,
using application QR Droid,
educational platform Edumaster.pl , application LearningApps.org
10.45 – 11.30 Students participate in the
lessons according to the host student’s lesson plan.
12.30 – 15.30 Visit
to the Museum of Local Traditions in Puck. Workshops: “The school in the past
and present”: students and teachers discover the conditions and methods of teaching
in the past, find the old school tools, listen to the story about the role of
the teacher in the rural area. They find the world of old school bags, school
desks with the holes for the inkwells, donkeys’ ears in the books. They
practise calligraphy using goose feathers.
Friday, 10th February 2017
8.00 – 9.15 The play „Cinderella” performed by class 6c students.
Students get to know the plot of the folk tale in the intersemiotic
rearrangement, expressing the emotions through vocal interpretation, mimicry,
dancing, singing, non-verbal ways of expressing feelings, recognition of
sender’s intentions (in singing, dancing, dialogue, monologue).
9.30 – 12.30 Town Game. Students
are divided into groups (each group – visitors and hosts, students and
teachers) and visit places in Reda with maps and worksheets (e.g. a
kindergarten “Omnibusek”, Town Library, the house of culture (Fabryka Kultury),
the Town Hall, a bookshop). In every point marked on the map there is a task to
do by students, which requires ability to read, write and communicate in
English.
13.15 –
14.15 Creating a brochure „Journal of a visit to Reda” (part V): students work
in international groups and describe Thursday activities, practise vocabulary
they learnt in Puck Museum, they evaluate the visit in Poland.
14.30 Presentations of Town Game worksheets, evaluation of the visit, handing
out the brochures „Journal of a visit to Reda” to each country, the official end
of the visit.
